Kristen’s dress!

With just over 55 days to go before we can park our tush’s in a seat knee deep in popcorn and anticipation, to watch Eclipse, I can’t help wondering if director David Slade is happy with his work. I was disappointed with the wolves to say the least and the disjointed nature of the movie, the acting and lack of any real emotion from the three main characters. So I’m hoping Mr. Slade dragged a better effort out of them all.
I know what they will say…”Less is more” and “It’s very emotional but we don’t really need to convey that”. Crapola, I say. Give us the emotion that made us cry reading the books dammit.
Now I know you loyal Twilight Saga fans will disagree with me …or maybe you won’t…after all you guys are smart and know the books very well. Do you agree with me?.
But I believe they have departed from the flow and feel of the books and how they were written. Vampires don’t blink, something Edward does all the time. Yes, I know in the book he says he has learned to do this around humans but with just Bella he would not need to.
Any way check out Kristen Stewart’s beautiful dress as she arrived at the MET ball May 3rd , courtesy of gossipcentre.com and celebrity gossip.com have this split photo of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner arriving back at LAX after finishing up their extra shots for Eclipse. They are almost done with the Twilight Saga now with just one book left and that book - Breaking Dawn- may be two movies instead of one.
And lastly every one’s favorite Alex Meraz arrives at Myrtle Beach Music Festival to sign autographs and meet the fans. He compliments the fans on how they were patient and withstood the sun to wait in line to meet him. Isn’t that nice! He’s such a nice guy.

Hi Annie,
Eclipse cannot possibly be worse than New Moon surely? I thought the wolves look slightly better than the NM ones, but the wigs are a freak show and Carlisle looks ancient not 33.
BTW I hated Kristen’s dress, Chanel or no.

You know what I think is the worst. Stephenie specifically said that the Vampires were beautiful, no ugly, pasty, zombie like Vamps and that is what the Newborns look like to me. Ugh. Can noone interptet the story correctly. Maybe they should read it as much as we fans do.

I guess only time will tell with Eclipse. I am looking forward to the wolves for sure. But I don’t know what it will be like…it could be as bad as New Moon. We’ll see eh!

i love the twilight series and i really can’t wait till Eclipse i read all the books and i love the movies and im very anxious to see it when it comes out.

I’m a huge fan of twilight (books); I love the details and how the author has caught my attention and emotions. I believe that the director does what he can but can only do so much. I would love to see him capture our hearts with the details that the book does. I read the whole series within a week the first time, I can still remember every detail. Unfortunately directing a movie isn’t as easy as writing one. I really disliked the way they portrayed the werewolves in the first movie but I liked the way they looked in the second. Only time will say whether twilight-eclipse is as fascinating as the first two.
p.s. I hate the dress!!

Hi Annie, I like your website and love your pics. I have to agree with you about Kristen’s dress - I think it’s marvelous. I also agree with you and Mac concerning important details such as Edward’s blinking and the ugly newborns, and of course the retarded-looking wolves. Something that has bothered me all along is the chest hair peeking out of the top of Rob’s shirts. I don’t think Edward would have chest hair; indeed, Stephanie has never said in any of the books that he did. The wigs are horrible - especially Carlisle’s. Peter is such a gorgeous man, and surely they could come up with a much better look for him. I do, however, think that the casting of Kristen, Rob, and Taylor is perfect.
