Harvest time!
Hi and welcome to Discussions with Annie!
Now that we’re well into harvest time and people are making stuff and staying indoors more, I thought I’d take a look at what people are making and doing in the chilly October evenings. Well it’s chilly in some parts of the world Twi fans. And what, you may ask are all you people indoors making?..why Twilight stuff of course. Here’s what I found. No, no crazy Edward pumpkins yet!. Can’t wait to see those.
Twilight cakes
Now these two cakes (above) caught my eye immediately. The first, showcased on finalcake.com covers the four books er…literally and when I saw the very laid back lion and lamb on top I laughed. The second one showed some creative insight and went for the deliciously dark chocolate forest look. Saw that one on flickr.com. Also on flickr.com was this beautifully detailed “Edward’s meadow” scene from Twilight. This must have taken hours of work.

Then I came across a Jacob wolf and glass bead pendant at wavecloud. Check out other work at wavecloudetsy.blogspot.com. That pic got lost in a galaxy far, far away, lol.
Below is a teeny tiny Edward made from clay at cutoutandkeep.com. There is also an amusing account of how “eddie” is made and the trouble they had finding the right colour for his hair. “Eddie” is then baked and glazed so he is all cute and sparkly.
The next pic is of a beautiful charm bracelet made from glass beads and shells and literally bits of stone, glass and wood. Things in fact, you might find on a beach, maybe even First beach. Beautiful!
Fanpop.com had this Twilight styled bedroom. It’s very romantic but I have to say I’m puzzled by the two beds. I would imagine you would not need two beds for a quiet romantic evening in this very romantic room. You’d definitely want to be alone with that special guy.
No not you! …you guys are too young to be thinking of romantic nights and even then not before talking it over with your parents, who’ll say “Of course dear, it’s only fifteen years til your 30th birthday, we’ll pitch in with the scented candles then”…yeah right!. Seriously though, having a boyfriend is one thing but goin’ this far is way way way too far. Enjoy being beautiful, unique, unspoilt you. Leave the crazy, cave dweller, one track mind man stuff til your older and your better equipped to make good decisions. Actually I think this is a room for two Twilight fan girls. Perfect for sisters or friends on a sleep over who are reading the books and want to talk Twilight all night long. Yea! that’s better. Me likey!
And this last one from sierrasull.blogspot.com. It’s a funny comic strip on New Moon, the super condensed version. It’s hilarious.

Yeah, I love Facebook, I’m addicted to Farmville and myself and my friend Sally J are tryin’ to beat each other to the next level. Great fun.

WTH (h is for heck) is farmville? I love the comic. What are you going to do to lead up to the movie opening? On top of any news I think I am going to summarize each chapter daily. Sound boring? I want to put it in my words. We’ll see, it’s and idea.

Hi Mac,
(lol!) Farmville is a game you play on Facebook. I million people play it. The sheep are so cute. You start off with a few plots to grow crops. You sell them to get animals, buildings etc..The more money you get , the more things you can have for your farm. Having 8 nenighbours allows you to expand. The more levels you go up, the more things get unlocked for you. I know sad!
Sounds cool Mac. The Twi fans will get the recap they need to fuel the excitement even more for the big night.
Don’t know what I’ll do. I just can’t wait to critique the movie itself. We’ve seen so many clips, I wonder what’s left. Summit is really milking the fans on this one. I think they think making book four into two movies will get even more money out of the fans. I know it will be a disaster. I say trim the book down and stick to what’s important.
It’s kinda disgusting what movie companies will do to get money out of impressionable teens.
Anyway think I’ll just keep passin’ on the gos as it’s emailed to me and get into the mood by readin’ your daily chapter. I tell ya Chris Weitz better deliver or I will be so mad.

I think he is going to deliver. I’m going to blog the night of and then wait until I see the movie again on the 20th. I have to watch it at least twice before I get into it. I am excited though. I feel like a kid again going to a NKOTB concert. It amazes me. Something exciting to live for outside of my day to day life.
I wouldn’t mind if Breaking Dawn was turned into 2 movies if Stephenie would go back a re-write it. It truly sucks! I just can’t get my head into it. Edward is nothing in it, there’s all this chaos for a simple meeting in the woods. I don’t know! Maybe I am being too hard on it. Also I can’t imagine them taking out Esme’s island. You can insinuate Sex without going into detail about it. It’s an important part of the book and what could be more natural than a married couple… To me, it teaches Teens and Pre-teens that it is right to get married first. Also if they cut out the baby being born what the heck else will there be. I am just going off the info from our News Blog (they got it from NewMoonMovies). I think if they don’t keep the basic of the story and then make some changes to the plot and ending (I often think what was Stephenie doing? Just ready to get it over with) it will be awful.
I know what you mean about Summit milking families on this. It amazes me how much they have released. I hope Slade puts his foot down and says, “Hey Eclipse doesn’t need to wh#)$d out like New Moon.” Let’s keep it under wraps so that the fans are more excited for what is to come!

I’d love to play farmville, but I actually have my own farmvilled.
Mini horse, pregnant mini goat, building a hen house, and have two paint horses. I want some baby doll sheep and rabbits next. It’s work, but fun for the kids. The goats are entertaining too, and Baby Doll sheep are just too cute to pass on. My husband isn’t so happy with all the mini stuff, but OH WELL!!! It’s 1/2 the feed bill I say. Maybe I’ll get a facebook, first I need to cancel my myspace. I never get on there. Everyone says join facebook. We will see. I was like member 5,000 on myspace so I’ve had it forever..

Hi Mac,
I love the Paul wolf. So much like what I thought for Jacob wolf. The Jacob wolf is still wrong at the back end. His hind legs don’t move right and his paws should not curl in. I guess they didn’t have time to change it. You’d think they would have frame by frame wolf movements to work off of.
I guess we wait and see.

Wow, that is a good website you’ve obtained right here. Your post was genuinely beneficial and informative, i can not wait to study some a lot more. I started out playing Farmville about three months a go and i cant think how addictive it is :). I didn’t realise there was so significantly to find out about it either lol. I’ve invested ages searching for beneficial suggestions and stuff and this really is good. I discovered another truly excellent website at Farmville Tipsthats has truly excellent points and cheats as well. Btw, if any person else has any great suggestions then i wouldn’t mind hearing them also. Thanks a lot for this.
