Eclipse cast out to lunch!

Today I’m keepin’ you guys up to date on what’s (really not ) happening in Vancouver. I have links to footage below and some other stuff, but first some latest pics of Rob, Peter, Ashley and Kellan out to lunch at Bodega today. Kristen was working on her graduation scene and where is Jackson, may I ask? Beats me!

Reports like the one on showbizspy have surfaced again about Robert Pattinson being so blown away by Kristen Stewart when they met up again at San Diego a while back, especially since she has blossomed into a beautiful rocker chick with her hair dark and messed up for her role in ‘The Runaways’ (depicting the life of rocker Joan Jett), that they hit it off again and the couple were now planning on buying a 3 million dollar home in west Hollywood (source: Melbourne herald sun). These reports have been denied. Really? lol
Actually the latest gossip about Robert and Kristen is that according to examiner.com both have rooms at the Sheraton wall Centre (below) in Vancouver and reports suggest that Kristen spends a lot of time in his room. While most of the cast are staying over at the nearby Sutton Place Hotel (below left- I can’t begin to tell you how big these two hotels are), Rob and Kristen who have separate rooms at the Sheraton are said to be walking around smiling and looking so adorable.
And Kristen has also made the headlines because her indie movie “Welcome to the Rileys” will see her play a sixteen year old lap dancer and prostitute Mallory who unites a grieving couple who have lost a beloved daughter. Indie movies tend to get lost in obscurity but this one is sure to get the spotlight now that Kristen is involved and some nude scenes I hear are involved. Pic: nydailynews/ cakeeatersmoviestills
Fansitefridays reports a new interview with Taylor Lautner. In it, Lautner discusses everything from his wolfpack tattoo and wig to the duality of his character in New Moonas compared to that of characters in other projects he’s been involved in - namely, Christian Slater’s Edward Albright/Henry Spivey in the 2008 television series My Own Worst Enemy.
Said Taylor Lautner, “I study him - he has a split personality - two totally different guys … Who’s Jacob in this movie? So yeah, I can definitely learn a lot from Christian Slater.”
Actualy I have seen My own worst enemy and the Christian Slater character is for sure split. One a loving husband and father to Ruthie and Jack (Taylor’s character) and the other a cold killer who’s conscience has no off button. Christain Slater is a master at split personalities. It’s always worth going to the movies to see him. 
But Taylor’s comment that Jacob character is split is in my view not true at all. Sure he phases into a wolf but Jacob is still the same lovable guy, just one who now has to deal with a lot more. He still laughs, he pokes fun. Even the wolf part of him can grin as written in the book. In Twilight you could see the beginnings of Jacob’s anger when he passes a message to Bella. Jacob could always fight, be angry, fight inner demons, show courage, forgive, be loyal, be in love and so on, he just has to grow up and deal with stuff a lot faster than nature intended. Jacob does not have a split personality.He is not the clear Albright/Spivey split that Christian Slater plays so well. Taylor has learned so many lines for the media that sometimes he forgets to think for himself. Yeah! I’m still team Jacob though. I’m loyal.

Sorry, lol but I’ve never fixed a flat with a can of air. Oh I know you can but Nope, never did that. I danced on a lug wrench for ten minutes and took the dirty flat tyre off and then had to put the inflated one on and dance on the lug wrench some more, Gotta make sure the nuts are on tight ya know! . Sure would have liked to have seen him change a big ol’ tyre though.

Kristen and Taylor may be keeping a low profile but that doesn’t mean they are invisible on set. No siree, reports of piggy back running through the forest and punches after stolen kisses are coming out from Vancouver. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy ! Pic: taylorlautnedaily. In the pic below with Jacob and Bella and the bikes…doesn’t Jacob look like his head is strangely too far away from his shoulders, like he has an unusually long neck - creepy looking. Did they alter the footage to make him look bigger somehow?
Jack Huston arrived yesterday. Huston is playing Royce King. He and his drunken cronies made the last moments of Rosalie Hale’s human life a living hell and she would have died if it were not for the turning by her vampire father Carlisle Cullen.

Peter Facinelli returning to Vancouver. He takes time out to talk to a fan on the phone who couldn’t be there to see him in person.
And Taylorlautnerdaily has this on David Slade’s tweet.
The main stars have been hard at work this week. David Slade tweetedon Monday that he shot with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and I can tell you exclusively that Kristen has also been working with Taylor Lautner this week. “Bella” goes on a piggyback run with “Jacob” and they run through the forest. She also drops blood everywhere, and at some point she punches him in the face after he kisses her.
And for the Twi-Hards, Slade’s Tweet referred to scenes between Stewart and Pattinson that took place in the “meadow”. My source tell me that they talk about getting married, they roll around a little, and they agree on a wedding date.
And who in blazes is this?
This as yet unknown vampire turned up by X17online which shows him in a barn. He could be part of a back story or just some screen test. Heck if I know. But I’m dying to know who he is.
What is Kristen Stewart’s favorite line in “New Moon?”
She tells MTV, “My favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], ‘It’s him; it’s always been him!’ Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.”
As for Taylor Lautner’s favorite scene?
“My favorite one was – well, we call it the breakup scene – but it’s the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I’ve cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can’t be friends anymore.” (Have you noticed? Well in most of the interviews I’ve read over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that Kristen mostly speaks about Bella as a separate person…a character. Not in the excerpt above of course, but mostly she does. But Taylor always speaks of Jacob in the first person as if he really has become Jacob now). Has he become deluded like the fans? does he really think he is Jacob now?. Perhaps he is told to identify with the character more. If that’s the case Taylor will be an emotional wreck by now. Jacob is in a lot of pain. Question? - What do you do when your in unbearable emotional pain, crazy in love and you can’t even break free to save yourself ? Answer - If your a werewolf, you phase and you run. If your a human you have no place to go. Like the question says you can’t break free so something has to stop and that’s probably gonna be you. Love is crazy and cruel sometimes. There are no answers, only more questions.
As for the Volturi, here is apparently what they will look like, in poster form. This one is of caius and below him Marcus. What’s the significance of the hand gestures? No idea! The rest of the famous family follow below including Aro. They look really smart and up to date clothes wise. Well they are in Italy after all.
Chris Weitz it seems has a fan base especially in Italy who would like to see him direct Breaking Dawn. Check out examiner.com for the story and the link to the group. He has a very easy going way about him and everyone was very relaxed on the set by all accounts so maybe … but I know he has a busy schedule ahead of him so don’t get your hopes up.

Death Cab For Cutie has scored the leading single spot for the forthcoming “Twilight Saga: New Moon” soundtrack, with an all-new track “Meet Me On the Equinox.”
The track will be unveiled on the MTV website during he September 13 broadcast of the cable networks music video awards (VNA’s)
DCFC bassist Nick Harmer confirmed the bands participation on MTV.

We’re Wolves part two.

OK so while we wait with agonised patience for New Moon to come out and something more tangible than actors walking to and from the set of Eclipse in Vancouver, Canada (notice I spell the whole word, not the very silly “Couve” or “Couver” geez!) I will fill in your time with part two of We’re Wolves.
Now I know you guys want to know every little detail of Rob and Kristen’s life but I promise you it’s not good for you. Familiarity breeds contempt, the more you know, the less dazzle they have. Remember when you were little or younger and you were crazy about some show or singer or band. And now you look back and say…” God! I can’t believe I liked them, yuck!” well…that’s because you knew everything about them. Familiarity breeds contempt. :) But if you must, more gos and pics later ok? Enjoy!
We’re Wolves Part two:
The cabin was about twelve square feet and seemed to have been used for various purposes. A stack of chairs had been set against one wall beside a fold out table and shelving held tackle and a lamp and matches. A woodpile was set beside the fireplace and in the corner, a strong box with a padlock.
Once he had set the fire, put blankets out and made coffee, he seemed ill at ease. Not knowing what to do next. He looked over at Emily who had put one of the blankets over her and lay back on the cot shivering slightly.
Sometimes, during this stillnes he would let his mind drift back across the plains of time and remember. Vampires remembered everything. He is young now in his minds eye. He swims in the lake at night to cool off. A young man, strong and full of the joy of youth.
” Emily, my love, when can I speak to your father and make you mine” he asks as he pulls his long body from the water.
“Soon” she says , “When I am old enough, my father will give his blessing, you’ll just have to wait a little longer”.
He would wait he knew, for an eternity if necessary, for her, for Emily.
“Emil”, Lalique’s deep rich voice was calm and quiet. “Why do you wait like a cat in the night, approach”. Emil emerged from the dark trees ghostly quiet and came to stand by his master.
“Yes I know”.
“Yes”, Lalique said more slowly this time, “I know”. He smiled and closed his eyes, tilting his head to the sky as if taking in the moonlight like sunshine.
“Why are you smiling, they are our enemies. Their presence means their deaths or our leaving. We cannot coexist“.
“Do not underestimate the wolves Emil“. Lalique turned to meet his gaze. “They are smart, they have skills you do not yet possess and more you will never master, they are loyal and courageous and they think as one”.
He smiled again. “They also like games if I recall correctly”.
“They stink”, Emil snapped. “They urinate on our resting places and scare our food away“.
Lalique laughed at the outburst and then sighed. The newly turned like Emil were tedious at times. Everything bothered them having not yet learned the calm and patience over centuries. Wolves were a problem though and a quandary. The only way to kill them is to separate them. There has not been wolves in Evangeline for a human lifespan, Why now?
“Where are the others”Lalique asked as they walked back through the trees.
“At the abandoned house deep in the forest, north of here, it has a deep cellar underground”.
” Yes I know it, the Beecherman’s estate, a fine house”.
Once maybe, thought Emil, now it was just a huge grey monument to colonial times. More than once Emil wondered why Lalique suddenly wanted to come back to his birthplace. He could always be found at the lake now lost in his memories. Benin the oldest vampire among them had expressed concern about the timing. A strange convergence was eminent here he had said. Benin was turned by a madman and Emil thought some of that touched his mind during the process. He always said strange things. The fourth member of the group by contrast never spoke. Crine lived for the fight, hated humans and was totally loyal to Lalique. When there was no fighting or hunting he was still. Emil thought his humanity had long ago left him.
When Lalique suddenly took off running Emil forgot his thoughts and gave chase hoping this time he would catch him.
Emily was in a dark place, a place she did not want to be. 
He was tall and broad shouldered and his hair hung down his back. Emily approached him and raised her hand up to touch him on the shoulder. “Jamie?” she said quietly. The man turned and Emily screamed.
“Emily, Emily, it’s ok, your dreaming”, Jamie was sitting on the cot holding Emily by the shoulders. Emily struggled against his grip trying to free herself. Jamie gripped harder and shook her. “Emily” he shouted and she stopped dead. Her wild eyes looked into his dark pools and when recognition finally came her body sagged between his hands. Tears welled up and began to flow down her pale and frightened face.
Jamie watched her carefully for a while, noting the tears, her pleading eyes and the quivering pale pink lips. She never took her eyes off him. Touched by compassion he gathered her up in his arms and drew her in to him. Holding her tight he rocked her slowly as she wept.
It seemed to him that her tears were old ones mixed in with new. Like she had kept them in for a long time. “That’s it, let it go” he whispered into her ear. Her hair smelled of meadow flowers and damp forest earth and antiseptic.
When Emily was quiet for a while Jamie gently lowered her back onto the cot.
He stood to tend the fire but she grabbed his hand. Emily’s tear stained face was calm now. After a moment Jamie simply said “Ok” and moved out of her reach to bank up the fire and turn the clothes over on the chairs. Then he took the other blanket and lowered himself back down beside her.
He covered them both and then pulled her to him wrapping his arm around her. She needed to feel safe he knew. Tomorrow he would ask about the dream and then take her home. 
(I quess there’s gonna be a part three !)

Boo Boo’s boo boo!

I know I’ve been awol of late but my personal calamities bear no real pertinence to the gossip I’ve been hearing about of late so let have at it.
Ok so Boo Boo Stewart said there was going to be a fifth movie and Summit said that was “premature” amongst other things and then Boo Boo , who will be playing Seth Clearwater (we hope…if he hasn’t opened his mouth just a little too wide his first five seconds on the job) made another statement and so on and so on. Basically backtracking. Here’s what Summit said.
“We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate,” the Summit rep said in a statement to Access.

Now BooBoo has what’s known as contract options for additional films after “Eclipse,” there are no guarantees yet that those films will ever be made.
There’s a lot going on at the moment so let’s stick to what we know now. Breaking Dawn is definitely being made. The ”fifth” movie is unconfirmed rumour. Here’s the report.
Radaronline say Breaking Dawn is definitely going to be made.
A new report suggests that Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book in the The Twilight Saga, will indeed be made a film by studio Summit Entertainment.
“The fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephanie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen,” a Summit representative told E! Online.
“As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right.”

Dakota Fanning is finished filming Eclipse. That’s what I hear and that was quick! As with a lot of films some scenes like the last scene is filmed first. The Volturi scenes must have been filmed early to get prepared for other more important and time consuming parts of the movie.

On Ted Casablanca’s “The awful truth” page he is calling Taylor Lautner a Robbie wannabe. No way does Taylor want to be Robert Pattinson. He’s having way too much fun being himself. Here’s the article, you decide.
What’s with the total lack of Robert Pattinson lately? He’s all over this column, ‘course, but it’s his own studio that’s leaving him in the dust, surprised? Allwe’re seeing recently is dee-lish doll Kristen Stewart paired with Robbie-wannabe Taylor Lautner—on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, on the New Moon poster and trailer, sitting next to him at Comic-Con and the Teen Choice Awards, with Rob either MIA or brushed to the side. Summit is seriouslytrying to make Taystew happen. Don’t ya just hate it when they blend names together, or the latest thing..shorten Vancouver to “couver” or “Couve”. Very juvenile.

Director David Slade has been tweeting about the shoot and unlike other directors, (if this keeps up) will give us an unusual insight into the mind of the director as well as finding out first hand what’s going on.

21st. Century Vampire 101.

Sorry I have been MIA these last few days but the story is too long in the telling so I’ll just get back to work.
Wow! there has been a lot going on since I was out. I’ll get back to that again but for now class, let’s do some Vampire 101.
21st century Vampire 101.
Is it because they are not real. No!, not exactly.
Is it because they are supernatural, young, beautiful and strong…other worldly? Perhaps!
The real answer is a mixture of all of the above and one other very important ingredient.
Over the last decade, we have made them look like us, we have humanised them, we have given them the capacity to fit in, to love. We have made them sexy!. In the 21st century we have created a slick, smooth creature beyond compare in the technological, cinemagraphic and digital enhanced studios of our today. And women everywhere fell in love with them completely and men wanted their girlfriends to look up to them with the same kind of awe and devotion.
So who are these 21st century vampires and how do they compare to each other.
Dracula 2000 - Dracula - Gerard Butler.
Angel - Angel/ Angelus - David Boreanaz
Moonlight - Mick St. John - Alex O’Loughlin
Twilight - Edward Cullen - Robert Pattinson
True Blood - Bill Compton - Stephen Moyer
True Blood - Eric Northman - Alexander Scarsgard.
Now before you start flexing your fingers to tell me who I left out and who I never should have put in. I have a reason for picking these six and only these six. Bear with me.
Gerard Butler’s Dracula was the first vampire who was truly beautiful as well as extremely old. No caked on makeup or ugly clothes. He was the epitome of sex appeal in black and were it not for thirty pieces of silver he could have been an angel or was that a saint. He was the beautiful petulant child angry at his father and even though he was evil, your heart went out to him in the end.
David Boreanaz’s sexy vampire Angel brought us the first “brooding” vampire. Angel fell in love with a human vampire slayer, a human who was trying to kill him. Talk about doomed love. Angel’s tortured soul and sex appeal so captured our hearts that he got his own series. Angel appealed to a younger audience as well and producers stumbled upon a money making icon and a target demo graph.
Moonlight brought us Mick St. John, a relatively young vampire - fifty years or so - who became a private investigator. Moonlight only ran for just one season and the agonising relationship between Mick and Beth dragged on til the very last episode. This one was my favourite vampire makeups and Alex O’Loughlin plays vampire to perfection, especially in episode 2 where Beth gets to see who he really is for the first time when he’s dying and vulnerable. Alex had the best vampire expressions of all time. I would have watched another season of this - sleeping in a freezer and walking in daylight but avoiding the sun - gorgeous creature.
Twilight came next and all hell broke loose when Robert Pattinson played a ninety year old Edward Cullen, a forever seventeen vampire with a brooding conscience who falls in love with human Bella Swan. Unexpectedly Edward became every twelve to nineteen year olds fantasy love and studios stumbled upon a goldmine. The Edward vampire was more human than ever. The trendy teenage vamp millions adore. Edward like Mick in Moonlight lived in modern times with all it’s modern trappings.He had no fangs to speak of and his only difference compared to humans was that he was unusually pale and his eyes changed from almost black to golden after he had fed on animals. Yes, Edward was a “vegetarian” vampire, who had unequaled strength, hearing and thought reading abilities. All of course except for Bella whose thoughts he could not hear. Suddenly teenagers could relate to someone older.
Edward was a departure from the usual fangs protruding and impending undead state.
Then came True Blood and a different generation fell in love with Bill Compton. A 140 year old vampire who was mainstreaming (living in human society on his own in Bon Temps, Louisiana rather than in a nest - where groups of vampires live together and stay violent and bloodthirsty). True Blood is the result of nine books written by Charlaine Harris. Bill falls in love with Sookie Stackhouse, a human waitress who can hear thoughts but not Bill’s. Bill is vampire fangs and all and his vampire instincts are strong and people die around him. In True Blood all the vampire lore returns with a vengeance and Bon Temps is awash with murders, orgies and other supernatural creatures. Bill is cool and well mannered, not exactly excitable or fun loving but he loves Sookie and does what he can to keep her safe at night. He sleeps during the day. This vampire has retractable fangs and Bill can “glamour” his subjects to subdue them or erase their memories, but it doesn’t work on Sookie. Bill drinks “trublood”, a synthetic substitute bottled and sold in bars like beer. This southern vampire is compelling.
Again in True Blood we have Eric Northman, viking vampire sheriff of area 5 (Louisiana). Eric is over a thousand years old and Bill’s boss. He is vampire through and through. Self preservation is his motto but he is capable of love although it is hard for him to recognise it being so long a vampire. He truly loved his two thousand year old maker Godric who turned him and a fascination grows for Bill’s girlfriend Sookie. He deviously attempts and succeeds in getting her to drink his blood thus bonding her to him. Bill is furious and Sookie starts to dream about Eric. Eric is a 6′4″ blond vampire - what’s not to like? No matter how evil he is, actor Alexander Scarsgard had succeeded in making him likable. He is ancient and contemporary all at the same time. Although humans are beneath vampires in this popular series, some have grown to love us and it seems some vampires at least, love deeply.
All compare favourably to each other, Edward Cullen being the most contemporary and most desperate not to be a monster, along with Mick St. John. My favourite - Eric Northman, outwitting him would be fun all day everyday.
So tell us what you think about the 21st century vampire. How would you rate them.
By the way I haven’t forgotten We’re Wolves, just it’s getting too long and I have to pare it down a bit. Will post part two soon.

New Moon, new cast!

Today we hear that the New Moon cast and newest members for Eclipse have been allowed to see the full New Moon movie. Lucky things!.
Of course they can’t tell us anything about it other than it’s “amazing” and we’re gonna love it.
So for now we just have to make do with this…(courtesy of newmoonmovie and whom ever owns the myspace page). Thanks.
So as the countdown clock above will tell you, time is ticking away and soon we the “Fans”, (the one’s that pay the salaries) will be allowed to see the movie for ourselves. I can’t wait but I will be a hard marker if it’s not up to scratch. The book is very clear, it’s very emotive and I hope that’s conveyed on screen.
In the mean time apart from Sushi nights out and getting to see the movie, the cast are just settling in up north and we wait for news to leak out about Eclipse. Yes! the movie, not who’s kissing who, or going shopping or whatever, the movie. I already know so much about the stars I can’t stand it.

Dakota is a stunner and it’s hard to believe she’s only fifteen. She’s a natural talent and I’m sure like me you feel like she has been around forever but it’s only been a few years since she first appeared in an episode of “ER” aged six in 2000.

Before I go on, I want to address the emails sent to me (in caps) regarding some of my older posts (of which you are only now mad at me for - geez!).
I say this. I welcome your thoughts, I welcome your anger, I even welcome all the big words you used, (though I gotta tell you, I was educated in a convent and Nuns eat dictionaries for breakfast so not impressin’ me there) but everyone is entitled to their opinion, even me, which I gave without personal agenda. And you misquoted me (a big no no) and insulting someone over the internet is a low defence indeed.

Today the Arts and Entertainment section of Associated Content are running this article below supposedly alleging that Robert Pattinson got engaged. Their source - Allie is Wired (Aug 12th) say they are the first to have this story. Here’s an excerpt of the article. Pic: examiner.com
Originally, Allie Is Wired reported the Robert Pattinson engaged rumor earlier in the week, alleging that Pattison proposed to her on her birthday. However, the blog didn’t name who Robert Pattinson was getting engaged to.
According to Allie Is Wired, Robert Pattinson had been seeing a woman for four years, and kept the relationship a secret from the press. As such, it made it easier for fans and gossip mongers to assume Pattinson was in relationships with Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed.
A new Allie Is Wired report going into more detail about Pattinson’s secret relationship cannot be found on the website. Either it was proven untrue, or they had to remove it to protect Pattinson’s privacy. But before the story went down, it alleged that everyone who works with him has to sign confidentially agreements to keep his relationship secret
Is this true? I do not know. I checked the website and the article is still up as of today anyway. I just thought I’d pass it along. Guys don’t get too upset, it may not be and probably isn’t true. Remember rumours and innuendo are all part of the game when promoting the hype for a movie that’s coming out soon.

Stephenie Meyer and Edi Gathegi have seen the Whole New Moon movie! Grrr! so unfair.
As this picture shows, even though rumours circle around kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson constantly, Kristen is more likely to be standing next to and photographed with Taylor lautner. They can be seen laughing and hanging out together, eating out and doing photo shoots together. (Why is the internet not awash with pics of them now and assuming they are in a relationship?) I’ll tell you why…No one would believe it. They don’t have the chemistry that Rob and Kristen have. When it’s real it shows. Of course they (Taylor and Kristen) are promoting Jacob and Bella whose story covers over 300 pages of the second book in the Twilight Saga. They have to spend time together to get the chemistry right, right? If Taylor can’t project this kind of emotional trauma, he’s in big trouble for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

But could they also be trying to stir up some love interest stories to further the movie , just like when Twilight was being promoted. Engineered photo ops and impromptu personal moments at Twilight shoots were the fodder that made Summit a lot of money. Good business yes, but will it work for New Moon? Unlikely in my opinion. It’s just not believable. Taylor is younger than kristen and still a giggly boy at heart (despite his physique) and she even refers to him that way saying “I love the kid…”

The New Moon movie will make a fortune no matter what they do, guaranteed and I know you guys love to hear all the gossip and stories about the stars you love. But really for us who write about it?..it’s incredibly boring and I personally could care less what they do in their private lives, however public it is.

From New Moon to Eclipse!

Now that New moon has wrapped and we wait with baited breath to see the finished product. What in blazes do the trailers convey about the movie? And what will David Slade do with Eclipse? I don’t know!

I’m a Team Jacob fan (who left on the planet does not know that !) and I knew in my heart and soul that he (Taylor) would have no problem building up for the part, such is his dedication.
But not so long ago I expressed reservations about whether someone so young (Taylor is only seventeen) could find the emotional well needed to understand and portray a young man ripped to pieces by love and betrayal. The term gut wrenching was used a lot. That well only gets deeper in Eclipse and is completely painful to read about in Breaking Dawn.
Some things I know can be taught and therefore learned. But to know pain you have to feel pain. You have to have a memory of it in your soul to draw on. Can Taylor get to that place?
And what of Eclipse?. Well the cast are back in Vancouver along with new director David Slade and we have just heard that new members have been cast. The part of Maria ( The sultry vampire who meets a young Major Whitlock and turns him) has been given to Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno. Catalina has the distinction of being the only Colombian actor to be nominated for an academy award (2005 for “Mary full of grace”, best actress) and for being the only actress to be nominated for an award for a part spoken entirely in spanish. I think she will make a great Maria.

Also the part of Royce king II has been given to Jack Huston, nephew of the great Anjelica Huston and grandson of the even greater John Huston. With these acting credentials to draw on, we look forward to seeing how the London born actor fleshes out the nasty and vile Royce King on screen. You’ll remember Royce King II is the fiance of Rosalie Hale.

As Summit Entertainment is poised to make millions, teasing the fans with teeny tiny clips of Jacob and Bella, I’m asking you guys..Is this fair?

Yes, they are a money making machine, it’s a business, they have employees and overheads. But their target audience for the most part are minors who influence their parents and the things they buy for them. Love can be a very expensive hobby if your a parent of a Twilight fan. Is this ethical?
Chances are the said tween or teen is jumping up and down screaming right now saying ” I don’t care, just gimme the damn ticket…er sorry Mom for swearing”. Smile like an angel and hold your hand out.
I’m speaking in particular about the latest 14 second teaser trailer, which by the way, if you want to see more of, you’d have to buy a ticket for Bandslam as the rest is supposed to be shown there. You could wait but Twilight fans don’t seem to be able to do that. They are spending a fortune rushing to get to see clips and stars. Airlines are even advertising specials to Canada. Can’t say I blame them. At this stage there won’t be much left of it to see come November.
And what do I think? Well there are two sides to my coin. First , yes, I think it’s exploitative. It’s very easy to manipulate an obsessed teenager. Millions have been made by finding out what teenagers want and using them to get at Mom and Dad’s pocket books. On the other hand making your kids happy is a way of life for parents who love their kids so much, they pull back on the moral lessons like earning a gift or teaching them about real life and taking part in it, instead of living in a fantasy world where Robert Pattinson loves only you. They would find a way to give them what they want. God! I’m boring today. Ah well, love (like me) makes no sense most of the time anyway. Here’s the clip in question.

Recently someone asked a simple question. Who was the better dressed at TCA 2009?. Kristen Stewart or Selena Gomez. And boy did it spark a lot of angry comments. Either way the voting is ongoing with, yep! you guessed it, Kristen Stewart winning by a good margin so far.
And why were there angry comments? well it seems sides were taken. People took exception to anyone insulting Kristen and they seemed to dislike Selena (could that be something to do with Taylor, hmmm! )

As of today the score is Kristen better dressed by 52% while Selena trails by 47%. Easy knowing the age group that’s voting. Of course it’s ridiculous, Selena Gomez is by far the better dressed and she looked absolutely Hollywood perfection. Beautiful dress, beautiful shoes, beautiful legs, beautiful hair and so on. I did not like Kristen’s outfit at all and I’m not alone there. Although Kristen has an absolutely beautiful face and slim figure she did not compare in my opinion to Selena on the night. But she is representative of the younger teens and although Selena is actually younger that Kristen by two years, she has a lot more style.

By now all the video clips of the Teen Choice Awards are all over the world and you’ve seen most of them, but in case you haven’t I will include some here throughout the page okay?.
Also by now most of the cast, minus Rachelle Lefevre and plus Bryce Dallas Howard have made their way to Vancouver Canada to start the prep work for the third installment of the Twilight Saga Eclipse. Helmed by director David Slade, this movie may prove to be very different to the other two as Slade has a reputation for departing from the norm. Some of his older videos are in fact disturbing. The times ahead will be interesting indeed!.

Jodelle Ferland has been added to the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse …that starts shooting this month in Vancouver. David Slade is directing for a June 30, 2010 release.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Ferland will play a “vampire who has just been turned” and probably an army member of Victoria’s, a villainous vampire seeking revenge on Bella. (excerpt from newsinfilm.com)
Catherine Hardwicke has been commenting on the Rachelle / Bryce / Victoria saga. According to Catherine, Bryce Dallas Howard was the first choice for Twilight but Bryce herself thought the part was too small. Having passed up the part, Rachelle was then cast. Bryce now has a bigger role as Victoria’s part is expanded on in Eclipse.
She told reporters, “Of course I cast [Rachelle], so I wish [Summit Entertainment] could have worked out something. I wasn’t involved in the negotiations, so I don’t really know the inside story.”

Joss Wheadon, creator of Angel and a host of other brilliant shows was having an amusing conversation with MTV news and he speculated that Angel (played by 6′ 1″ actor David Boreanaz - below) or his altered persona Angelus would kick the s*** out of Edward Cullen. He added “There’s no Edward Cullenus okay!”.
Well ok, Angel (whose hair is way cooler than Edward Cullen’s) fought off the supernatural on a weekly basis on the show, with all kinds of weapons and even was just as lethal with his bare hands. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can never judge anyone especially vampires. He’d have to catch Edward first. lol.
Robert Pattinson himself has just been voted sexiest man, which I’m sure even Pattinson himself will think absurd. Apparently he beat out Brad Pitt and even Johnny Depp. Unbelievable!. He also beat out Dracula 2000 actor Gerard Butler. Ok the movie was just so so but Gerard (whose name Ameicans can’t seem to pronounce …Gerr id) was a great vampire. This is why youth is wasted on the young, not that I’m old but they have no clue. Robert whose latest film “Remember me” has just wrapped in New York has been spending time in LA before going up to Vancouver to start shooting Eclipse with all his cast buddies. life will be better for him up there I think.
Does anyone think that Kellan Lutz’s hair is way cooler dark brown? Check out his Teen Choice pics. Now why is he not the sexiest man?
